FROM STUCK TO LAUNCHED IN 4–6 WEEKS
Launch your progressive podcast with a step-by-step plan and support so you finally get in front of the people who need to hear your message.
You’ve been “planning” this podcast for a long time.
The cover art is designed. The name is chosen. You’ve watched the tutorials, taken the notes, bought the equipment. But your mic sits in its packaging, untouched. Somehow, you still haven’t recorded a single episode.
Every time you sit down to actually do it, the overwhelm creeps in. The technical decisions. the strategy. The pressure to be on video too. The sheer number of steps between you and a live podcast. And underneath it all, a fear that if you start you might not follow through.
Meanwhile, the idea just sits there, weighing on you. Because this isn’t just a hobby project. It’s your message, and it matters too much to screw up.
You have an important message — one that could advance social justice, support your nonprofit’s mission, or share progressive ideas that matter.
You know a podcast is the right medium because it lets you have nuanced conversations without the trolls, bots, and rage-baiters who’ve turned social media into a dumpster fire.
But you’re stuck. And the longer you stay stuck, the heavier it gets.
Because deep down you know that if your podcast doesn’t launch…
- your message doesn’t reach the people who need to hear it
- your impact and reach stay limited
- your long-form content strategy stalls, so there’s no content library for people to get to know you
- it’s harder to make “softer sells” to potential clients or supporters
- the gap between who you want to be and what you’re actually doing keeps widening
Let's face it: launching a podcast is complex, and you're not a podcast producer
You’re a progressive professional — a nonprofit leader, a DEI consultant, a journalist, a founder, an advocate — and your expertise lies in your cause.
Podcasting involves strategy decisions, technical setup, editing skills, marketing knowledge, and production workflows. Yet somehow, you’re supposed to be able to figure this all out on your own from YouTube and DIY courses that are super detailed but completely overwhelming — all while carrying an idea that matters too much to screw up.
You don’t need more information or another course. You need someone who shares your values and understands your work to take this off your plate so you can show up, record your message, and trust it will be handled well.
Your job is to raise hell.
My job is to make it sound good.
My podcast launch package is a 4–6 week, done-with-you experience that takes you from stuck and overwhelmed to live and proud with a clear process and a partner who shares your values and guides you every step of the way.
What becomes possible when you stop going it alone:
- Go from months (or years) of planning to a live podcast in 4–6 weeks
- Launch with professional quality you couldn’t have achieved alone
- Build the long-form content library that creates “softer sells” and deepens trust with your audience
- Start getting discovery calls from people who found you through your podcast
- Leave with a system and the confidence to keep going on your own

why work with me?
Hey there, I’m Lisa Ferguson.
I come from the progressive communications world, where I was a nonprofit communicator, journalist, editor, and graphic designer. I understand your mission and constraints, and I share your progressive values.
As a podcast manager, I’m a combination mix engineer and associate producer. I don’t just make your audio sound good — I help you think through your content strategy, manage your entire podcast workflow, and keep you updated on industry changes.
I won’t push you toward tactics that contradict your values. No video pressure. No social media busywork. Just a clear process and a partner who genuinely cares about your work.
I work exclusively with progressive women podcasters, because women’s voices are still criminally underrepresented in podcasting, and because podcasting — and the world, which is a bit of a shitshow right now — needs more voices that are disruptive yet empathetic.
I want more of those kinds of podcasts in the world.
Client Story
“I didn’t know how to make a podcast a reality. With Lisa’s launch plan, I knew what I needed to do, and she kept me on track to make sure it got done on time.”

BOOKS TO BETTER YOUR LIFE
Got QUESTIONs? I've got ANSWERs.
Is podcasting a good growth tool?
Podcasting is best not for rapid growth but for engaging an existing audience and deepening relationships. It’s a long-term trust-building tool that creates easier conversations with potential supporters, collaborators, and customers. That’s huge.
Who is this for?
I work exclusively with women and mission-driven progressive podcasters — think nonprofit leaders, DEI consultants, journalists, advocates, and mission-driven entrepreneurs. If your work advances social justice or shares progressive ideas that the world needs to hear, you’re likely a great fit.
Shouldn't I be able to do this myself?
Even if you could figure it all out on your own, should you? Your time and expertise are better spent on your mission-driven work. Hiring a podcast manager isn’t admitting defeat. It’s strategic delegation so you can focus on what only you can do.
how do I know if I'm ready for this?
If you’ve had a podcast idea for months and it won’t go away, you’re ready. You don’t need everything figured out before we start. That’s what our first call is for.
Will working with a podcast manager be complicated?
It’s actually the opposite. A good podcast manager makes the process simple and takes work off your plate. What you get is clarity, structure, and someone handling all the details while you just show up to record.
I'm not very tech savvy. Is this still for me?
Yes! That’s exactly why this package exists. The technical setup, the hosting platform, the distribution to Apple and Spotify — I handle all of it. Your job is to record your message. Everything else is mine.
What if my audio quality isn't great?
We check your audio quality early in the process — before you record your full episodes — so we can catch and fix any issues before they become a bigger problem. I’ll guide you on simple, affordable ways to improve your setup if needed.
When I edit your audio, I listen to every single second to ensure the quality of your sound and your message.
Do I need to do video?
No. I take an audio-first approach, and I’ll push back on the video bandwagon unless you have the resources to do it well and a strong strategic reason to do it. Women already face enough appearance-based scrutiny. You don’t need the added burden of full makeup and perfect lighting just to share your expertise.
How does payment work?
Podcast launch packages are paid in advance. When I commit to a project, I block off time in my schedule for it, and can’t take on other work during that period. Advance payment ensures I’ll still be compensated for that dedicated time if something goes wrong on your end.
What happens after we launch? do you offer ongoing support?
You leave with a working system and the knowledge to keep going independently. If you’d rather hand off ongoing production entirely, my podcast management retainer picks up right where the launch package leaves off.
if you've read this far, you already know
It's time
The only thing standing between you and a live podcast is the process. You don’t need more information. You don’t need another course. You need a partner who shares your values and knows exactly how to get you from stuck to launched.
You don’t need to have it all figured out before we talk. Discovery calls are low-pressure conversations — we’ll talk about where you are, what you need, and whether we’re a good fit. No hard sell, just a real conversation about your real work.
Your message is too important to stay stuck in the planning stage.
