YOU RECORD.
I HANDLE THE REST.
Get professional podcast management so you can focus on creating great content that promotes your cause.
The backend work of podcasting is eating up precious hours.
Every week, you face the never-ending to-do list: the editing, the show notes, the uploading, the graphics, the blog post, and and and.
Your podcast mic sits unused while you’re mired in the fiddly bits, longing to be free to just record and walk away. Instead, your tired eyes scan through another round of edits as you weigh outsourcing against your sanity.
With each “um” and “right?” you cut out you realize that this is a terrible use of your time, because you know deep down that your strength lies in your mission and the high-impact work you do.
DO YOU SPEND MORE TIME ON PRODUCTION THAN YOUR ACTUAL CONTENT?
When the backend takes over, here’s what suffers:
- Your publishing schedule becomes inconsistent and you’re in danger of “podfading”
- The quality of your content slips because you don’t have time for it
- Your mission-critical work gets the leftover hours instead of the best ones
- The long-form content library you were building stops growing
- You start to resent the podcast you worked so hard to launch
THE PROBLEM IS THAT YOU'RE TRYING TO DO A SECOND, SPECIALIZED JOB
Podcasting has two distinct roles: the talent and the producer. Your expertise, your perspective, your voice make you the talent. Editing, writing show notes, uploading, scheduling, distributing, SEO — a producer can do that.
The podcast was supposed to amplify your work, not become a second job.
The solution is to hand off production to someone who does this stuff all day, every day. Even better if they share your values while doing it.
Your job is to raise hell.
My job is to make it sound good.
My podcast management retainer hands the entire production side of your podcast to me. Your only job is to show up, record your message, and upload the file.
I’m not just an editor who cleans up your audio. I’m your associate producer who keeps your show running consistently, professionally, and on schedule, so you don’t have to think about it.
WHAT BECOMES POSSIBLE WHEN PRODUCTION IS OFF YOUR PLATE:
- Publish consistently without overwhelm and even when life gets busy
- Spend your best hours on your cause, not in an editing program
- Grow the content library that builds trust and creates softer sells with supporters, clients, and collaborators
- Show up to record with energy, focus, and great content

why work with me?
Hey there, I’m Lisa Ferguson. I spent over a decade putting out progressive, mission-driven content as a one-person communications team at a nonprofit and as a journalist. I understand your work, your values, and your constraints from the inside.
As a combination of a mix engineer and an associate producer, I don’t just clean up your audio and send it back. I manage your entire podcast workflow, keep you updated on industry changes, share strategies that are actually working, and help you think through your content approach.
I work exclusively with women and mission-driven progressive podcasters, not as a niche strategy, but because it’s what I care about. If your work advances progressive values, I’m all in. I take the busy work off your plate so you can raise hell and make a difference.

Got QUESTIONs? I've got ANSWERs.
Do you work with anyone?
I work exclusively with women and mission-driven, progressive podcasters. If your podcast advances social justice, supports a nonprofit mission, or shares progressive ideas that the world needs to hear, you’re likely a great fit. Book a discovery call and we’ll find out.
I haven't launched yet? Can I start with the retainer?
The retainer is designed for podcasters who already have a show live. If you haven’t launched yet, my podcast launch package is the place to start, and it sets you up perfectly to go straight into the retainer once your show is live.
Shouldn't I be able to do this myself?
You probably could do it yourself. But should you? Your time and expertise are better spent on your mission-driven work. Hiring a podcast manager isn’t admitting defeat. It’s strategic delegation so you can focus on what only you can do.
What's the difference between a podcast manager and an editor?
A podcast editor just edits your audio. A podcast manager is your partner in your rebellion.
As a combination of mix engineer and associate producer, I don’t just make your audio sound good. I can truly carry a show. And I keep you updated on industry changes, share current strategies, and help you think through your content approach.
Will working with a podcast manager be complicated?
It’s actually the opposite. A good podcast manager makes the process simple and takes work off your plate. What you get is clarity, structure, and someone handling all the details while you just show up to record.
What exactly will I have to do?
Write and record your episode and upload the audio file to our shared Google Drive. Everything that comes after — editing, show notes, uploading, scheduling, publishing — is my responsibility (with your approval before it goes live). That’s it.
Do I get to approve everything before it goes out?
Always. You review and approve the edited audio and all marketing assets before anything is published.
How does payment work?
Podcast management packages must be paid monthly, in advance. When I commit to a project, I’m reserving time in my schedule to do the work, meaning I can’t take on other work during that period. Advance payment ensures I’ll be compensated for that dedicated time even if something goes wrong on your end.
What if I record inconsistently or skip a month?
The retainer is based on a set number of episodes per month. We can discuss what works for your publishing schedule on our discovery call.
You didn't launch your podcast to spend your weekends in an editing program.
You launched it because you have something important to say, because your message matters, and because the world needs more progressive voices in it.
My retainer exists so that the podcast you worked so hard to build keeps going — consistently, professionally, and without overwhelming you.
Discovery calls are low-pressure conversations about whether this is the right fit. We’ll talk about your show and what you need.
Your cause needs your voice, not your hours in an editing program — hand off production and get back to the work that matters.
